It has been a very busy and stressful week. Our area got hit with a huge snowstorm, my internet connection was down for awhile, and I had a lot of things to get done this week.

17SurfPro has paid me. Bob is making slow and steady progress with the backlog of payments, and getting this back on track. (Paid Jan 31st)

5HitsDaily was slowed down slightly from STP being down. But Roger got things caught up by paying me two pendings. (Paid Feb 2nd, Feb 3rd)

V-Lane Traffic is my biggest payment and of course the payment I look forward to each month. This program is a real business in which they proved to their memberbase through documentation (In which you have to be a member and sign a NDA) that they indeed made the kind of profit they claimed to make. Charles made an update as to what is going on. Most admins would give up if they faced what Charles has faced in over a year of running SM. The biggest thing, payments continue to go out and that tells the members that they are serious about making this business a success with the business plans they are launching. It seems that Egold is continuing to give admins trouble. Surfs that still decide to use this as a form of payment are running a great risk of having their accounts blocked. Attractive Ads, and the DPS Group reported this happening and are now making pending Egold payments to other processors. Attractive Ads will pay out to Liberty Reserve, and the DPS Group gives you a choice between AlertPay, SolidTrustPay, or Liberty Reserve.

They have decided to move to a faster more efficient server. This announcement was made yesterday, but they have already been working behind the scenes for some time now so there wouldn’t be a lot of downtime. It was suppose to take about 4 hours from Midnight Server time, but took a little longer as there was still an error message on the log in page at this morning. I just checked and everything is working fine now. Also… don’t be alarmed by the number of emails in your inbox from V-Lane, this was a result of the server move.

After the STP downtime, payments have started to resume again, and Bob looks to close the gap in the backlog of pendings. To help gain a little more momentum, he made a special offer for members upgrading.

Upgrade between $100 and $240 and receive 1 free upgrade unit (value $10).

Payments are going out again after STP came back online, he still has a long way to go. Here is a post from Charles forum admin:

Charles has been working very hard as have all the partners. He asked me before the email went out that discussed the forum and the store whether we should wait until after the payouts started to give that information out; he didn’t want to give the impression we were trying to get focus away from the pending cashouts. What people don’t understand is that you can’t just make profit materialize out of thin air - they have been preparing everything else while waiting for the money to come in from outside sources rather than just waiting! And while the partners could have just taken in all the upgrades since the first slowdown issues to pay back the waiting pendings, that would not solve the problem! It would look better to everyone right now, but the business model would be compromised tremendously. Charles knows better and has to see this thing beyond a money in, money out perspective. So everyone has made the sacrifice of time here (present company included) but at no point did the business model break down and in the end that is why it will work. How many programs fall behind then ever pay out? In the (admittedly short) history of this industry can you count them on one hand? One of the reasons is because the business model doesn’t have the outside resources. In our case, those resources hit a snag over the Christmas holiday, and let’s not forget that the housing market (a key outside stream) has been in a particularly rough spot lately. So we solved the problem by creating new revenue streams for the company and the members in the process… it’s called making it work. I think even the most pessimistic realize the money is still coming back to them, and that right there says a whole lot. Everyone will get their payout and then we will move forward having made tremendous strides in the meanwhile.

Payment Updates

It has been a very slow week payment wise.

10dollarswonder I joined this program the day after Christmas 2006 and to my surprise it has paid me within 24 hours everytime I request a cashout! I even forgot about this program for months until I saw it in rotation and I logged in to check balance and to my surprise I had over $70, I requested a cashout and there it was less than 24 hours later. Well that hasn’t happened since, and I even repurchased a position to increase the frequency of my cashouts. (Paid Jan. 24th)

5HitsDaily I know STP has slowed him down a bit, he is waiting on a couple transfers to go through, and has emailed Stella to see where it is at. I have a pending that I am not too worried about as it is only from the 22nd. Once STP catches him up, things should be back to normal here.

Many of The Safelist Community members know me, and what I truly value in life. I truly value my faith, time, my family, and my friends. Everything I do in this life are with those things in mind… where there are many folks who would define success as being a millionaire or billionaire, in other words many people define success as how much money they have.

I view success as having the ability to be free. Instead of working hard, I believe success is NOT to work at all. How can this be you say? I believe you avoid work when you are doing something you LOVE to do. When you are engaged in those things that have your heart you do not feel like you are working. I enjoy computers and is why I enjoy earning money online… the goal of this is to have something I enjoy doing to provide me with the monetary resources of providing for my family without giving up the thing I value more than money - TIME. I know this to be true now more than ever, I am now back in the workforce for the timebeing. Because of this, I KNOW the real definition of work because I am experiencing it. The real definition of work is when you are wishing you were doing something else with your time. (I am proud to say that I don’t see being in the workforce as longterm, I have a vision to succeed and I am determined to be an achiever.)

Its been said success is not a destination, its a journey. I BELIEVE THAT 100%! Destination limits you to just that, and you end up saying… “Now What?” For me its a process of a whole combination of things such as my faith, family, friends, health, happiness, financial abundance, and influence. When you are in a position to give from abundance, then you are successful… better put, when I can have fellowship with God, when I can spread love with family and friends, when I can encourage others to be healthy, when I can share happiness, when I can give money to those in need, and when I can lead and motivate others to pursue their dreams, and do it without limitations of lack… THAT IS HOW I DEFINE SUCCESS!

I have word from the partners wednesday that we now have access to all the funds required to pay out everyone’s pending balances in full. At this point the STP issues are the only thing that is preventing the payouts to resume because Charles sends them through his STP account, which as you read above is safe. The timing is bad for everyone… but the money is there, the accounts are safe, and STP is being worked on right now. A lot of effort has gone into preparing the new programs here for you, the members, and that level of effort means a big commitment to you that I know STP shares. Sometimes it seems like a challenge comes right before a breakthrough to make people earn their progress, and it seems just as SurfMargin and SMSO are ready to prove their mettle, it comes STP’s turn. They will emerge the better for it, and we are all ready to get past all this. When this kind of thing happens, some people get upset/ scared and some get focused. I know what the partners have done when the chips were down and I bet I know what the people at STP will do. If anyone sees any other updates on any forums etc regarding STP please include them here for reference for everyone, I would appreciate it in case I miss them, and I’ll do my best to keep everyone up to speed.

It is impressive to see an admin overcome all the challenges Charles has faced over the past year, and still come out strong. I look forward to seeing all the pendings paid, and Surf-Margin back ranked in The Safelist.

Randy just sent out an update that all pending payments, and future payments due to members will be paid in full in 200 days. I know most people when they hear that from an autosurf admin just think that is a bunch of smoke.  From what I know of Randy, he seems to be a man of good character and integrity so hopefully he will live up to his reputation. He admittedly said he made a mistake by allowing a cashout every 30 days with the 2% per day for 150 days business model. It drained the program fast in the later months, and he had to “stop the bleeding” so to speak before it got to the point of no recovery. I will be following this situation closely since I had put a lot of faith into Randy myself, and will the report updates here. Lets hope he doesn’t let us down.

Some changes that are being implemented by Dave the admin are not going to change the inevitable. The announcement made confirmed they are in trouble, and I honestly don’t think many are going to stick around and risk it. Here is what was said in the announcement:

today (Jan.21 server time), deposits and support have been VERY LOW. I really don’t know what the reason is for the dip, but without giving any exact stats, the gap between the deposits and withdrawals was at -10K+, an all time high!

I am not in this one but I hope for the best for those that are. The changes in the program are as follows:

1. Max deposit amount per day per member would be increased to $2000
2. Rates for LR deposits will be 15% daily for 8 days
3. Rates for STP deposits will be 10% daily for 12 days

Lets hope that Dave can pull through this difficult time.

SolidTrustPay has been very slow for me yesterday. The problem did not seem to isolate me only… other admins have reported the same. When this happens it just slows the fast moving pace of the AS world. Today things seem better this morning (off and on) but nothing this afternoon.

Charles made an announcement late Monday night that they now have a forum for the members. They tout this as a tool that the memberbase will be able to use to keep up with any new developments that take place.

They also announced that they will be opening a store that will allow members to produce additional income streams through selling Merchant Ads and other advertising facilities available on their sites.

Obviously this is all good news, but I know more members are concerned with getting payments all caught up. Monday was a U.S. Holiday, so hopefully we will see some progress from this point forward until things are back to normal and the site is functioning under its new plan.

Speaking of the new plan, Charles made a post about it to clear any confusion.

Hi everyone.

Here’s how it works….
We will not be taking 15% of the total cashout amount because it may include commissions. This it how it will be calculated.
1. Calculate 136% of upgrade amount.
2. Correct any overpayment due to variable percentage and make the figure a true 136%
3. Calculate 15% of the UPGRADE value and deduct that amount from the pending amount.
4. Add any commissions
5. The balance is the amount paid at cashout time.

Well, its Monday and I thought I would be celebrating the Packers success, BUT the Giants definitely showed heart, and are going to the SuperBowl instead. … Anyway, I am not going to vent my disappointments about that here.

This week’s program review: KKProSurf

I joined this program optimistically because Karin and Kris seemed to be sincere about making a legitimate program that people can count on. October 22nd I joined. Shortly after, I made my first upgrade with confidence because of something that Karin and Kris said.

We make no promises. We can not make promises. However, we can say that we have learned and lost alot. In doing so we will not put our funds, which are the funds our advertisers have paid us, to other surf sites to gain income on what we return as a rebate. We will only put our funds in investments that give us a turn around we can honor to the best of our ability.

I found that statement reassuring because I thought they had a more stable plan. On November 30th just days after my upgrade expired they put KKProSurf on hold. After a couple contact requests went unanswered I scratched my head and chalked it up as a loss.

I believe Karin and Kris to be good people who unfortunately has had bad luck when running AS programs. I know the first big blow they suffered was when they lost big in TriStarMoney Changers… and since then, it just seems they try to make comebacks but can’t. They have a list of failed programs: cslproads, tslglobaldaily, and kkprosurf.

Now they are relaunching kkprosurf as stated in the update below:

We were hit so hard in 2007 by other sites that went down. We can not recover these funds and we deeply apologize. Karin and Kris

I am definitely going to stay away from this program. I again believe Karin and Kris are sincere about making this program work, but are already starting on bad footing if they can’t even pay their personal bills. I also didn’t like the fact that they said they were going keep members money out of programs but then stating the reason for the failure is because they have been hit so hard by other sites that went down in 2007.

When and after the program was in trouble, I did contact them a couple of times, but did not receive any reply. That is not a very good sign of a dependable admin either. I realize kids, and family come first, but a response back to a member should be a priority if they are really serious about making this a business.

I know this is a little out of character for me to focus on a negative. I believe our perspective should be to look at the glass half full… but after giving these admins a chance, and then getting the update they want to relaunch; I felt it necessary to warn others about jumping into this program when they aren’t starting with the most solid foundation to begin with.

You can even sense the confidence level with this statement made in their latest update:

I look for confident and competent admins that are going to follow through… not ones with a track record of wiggling out because of this clause.

Vee, Bob, Charles, Jeff, Chee, and Randy are all admins that have chosen to look for a way to follow through, and not for a way out, and is why I support them.

Last thing… I do not EVER wish ill will on any program. With all sincerity, I do hope Karin and Kris prove me wrong. It would be great to see them launch this program and have tons of success!

BabyDragonSurf. This program has been paying over a year, and even in a challenging time, Chee(Linda) has tremendous tenacity to do what it takes to keep the program healthy. This is an admin who like I said above “looks for a way to follow through, NOT for a way out!” Keep up the great work Chee. (Paid Jan. 20th.)

The Biggest Key to Success: People Skills

It has been said that 15% of success is due to knowlege and training. The other 85%? …PEOPLE SKILLS.

Chances are that the most successful people you know are the ones that have gift of dealing with people. The world we live in now is becoming more advanced than ever! As our civilization progresses more and more, the world we live in is getting more specialized, as well as smaller and smaller. The need for us to depend on others is greater than it ever has been.

I attended a conference this summer by Loral Langemeier. One key concept that I really bought into was the concept of having a team. Her theme of the conference was, “Becoming a Millionaire”. Yes, there are self made millionaires out there, but it takes a lot longer. She is a huge advocate of setting up a team of mentors, accountants, field partners, financiers, etc. By doing this you will become a millionaire much faster.

So how do we increase our people skills?

First, there isn’t going to be a one size fits all technique. If you try doing it that way you will come off insincere. I suggest reading a few books, and putting it all together. Here are 4 books to get you started.

1. How to Win Friends and Influence People. (Dale Carnegie)
2. The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader (John Maxwell)
3. How to Connect in Business in 90 Seconds or Less (Nicholas Boothman)
4. Whale Done (Ken Blanchard)

Bottom line, the better we deal with people… more doors open, we find ourselves in the right place at the right time, opportunities present themselves more often, etc. Yes, successful people sometimes appear “luckier” than average… but thats because they make their own luck by not being afraid of taking action, and are good at dealing with people.

Well I must say it has been a frustrating past couple of days. I have been without an internet connection since yesterday morning. (I am on my laptop connecting through a wireless signal to get me by for now). Anyway, I want to pass along a couple updates.

DPS Group has decided not to use Egold anymore after they blocked a feeder account of theirs. None of the programs in their network will be accepting Egold anymore. I can’t say I blame them, as Egold can and will block any given account at anytime. I have personally gotten most of my money out of Egold and favor using SolidTrustPay. (I posted the update Jeff sent to QXLsurf members below) BabyDragonSurf which is owned and operated by Linda (Jeff’s younger sister) has also decided to stop accepting Egold.

SurfMargin Cashout Progress

Dear Members,

Please be assured that we are working hard behind the scenes here to deal with the
backlog of payments. At the same time we are changing the terms and script so that
this situation should never happen again.
I’m fully aware that all of you who have pending amounts are mostly interested in
when you will be paid out. So I will broach that subject first.

Cash is available and will be sent to our SM&SMSO account by the beginning of next
week. We will then work through the backlog until everyone is up to date. Your
bonuses are safe and will be paid but we have to make some alterations to the plan
to safeguard members and owners from this situation in the future.

These changes will take effect immediately and will apply to all members:

1. Our terms allow us to remove a total of 15% from every upgrade - this will be
applied differently.
2. The new terms are to remove the 15% from every cash-out. This amount will pay
for the admin fee and referral commissions.

This is a much fairer way to proceed and will allow the partners access to marketing
and development funds that were not available to us under the old system.

What’s in the pipeline:

We are nearly ready to launch our Merchant Advertising and Store. This will allow
(members only) to sell advertising to local Merchants and receive good affiliate
commissions for every advertisement and renewal. Remember – Our Merchant advertising
will be to a captive audience.

We also have amazing Flash website templates for sale where you or your customer can
choose a template at a very reasonable cost and we will bespoke the template to your
(or your customer’s) requirements at a small additional cost. Many other items and
services will be offered through this site enabling every member to create an extra
income stream for themselves. Some members who take this seriously should even be
able to make this their prime income and retire from the corporate system.

We will also have funds from the new audio ads service that launches on the 1st
February. All these extra revenue sources will be added to the main advertising
pool together with the investment activities of the partners. We will not allow
this to happen again!

I thank you personally for your patience. Some of you have been through the waiting
game with us before and hopefully remember that we paid everyone out and eventually
got back to normal. Because we are running a legitimate business here, the waiting

Step by Step to getting your computer ready for the autosurf environment.

I remember when I first got into autosurfing, I was a little green behind the ears when it came to protecting my computer. I didn’t realize how viewing so many websites per day could expose my computer to unnecessary risks, such as viruses, adware, trojans, etc.

A friend of mine gave me this routine awhile back, and I trust him because he is always researching the latest security blogs, and forums. I came across it tonight and thought my computer is LONG overdue for a thorough cleaning. I was surprised to see just how much this routine cleaned my computer, and thought it would be helpful to pass along to my fellow surfers.

Step One: Update your operating system.

I know most of us probably have it set to update automatically… but if you don’t, you could be missing some important security patches.

Step Two: Make sure you have ONLY ONE antivirus program.

Anitvirus programs are like a pitbull guarding your computer, but if you put two together they will go after each other and slow your system down. Also make sure this program has a firewall.

Step Three: Download These Programs

CCleaner - A simple program that removes unused and temporary files from Windows machines.

Adaware SE - This program digs very deep in search for adware. It is adware specific and does not go after anything else.

Spybot Search and Destroy - Eliminates threats to your security and privacy by searching for adware files, browser hijacks, as well as detect registry inconsistencies.

Ewido Antispyware - Devoted primarily to detecting and preventing data and system espionage and fights harmful programs such as trojans, dialers, spyware programs and key loggers. It starts where virus scanners and firewalls leave off and represents a supplement to existing security systems. (You can use it free for 30 days)

CWShredder - Tool to find and remove traces of CoolWebSearch (the name for a wide range of insidious browser hijackers) from your PC. CoolWebSearch installs dozens of bookmarks on your desktop, changes your home page without asking, and continually changes it back if you attempt to correct it. It significantly slows down the performance of your PC.

Step Four: Run The Above programs in this order.

1. CCleaner (Delete everything found)
2. CWShredder (Delete everything found)
2. SpyBot Search & Destroy (Delete everything, then immunize)
3. Adaware SE (Delete everything found) [Digs deeper for adware than SpyBot S&D]
4. Ewido Antispyware (Delete everything found)
5. Reboot computer.

Step Five: Defragment Hard Drive

1. Click [Start] icon in the lower left of your screen.
2. Go to Programs
3. Accessories
4. System Tools
5. Disk Defragmenter

I got tremendous results going through this routine… (Probably because, I havent given my computer a thorough cleaning in a long time LOL) This is something that we all should do from time to time.
