KKProSurf, Payment Updates

Well, its Monday and I thought I would be celebrating the Packers success, BUT the Giants definitely showed heart, and are going to the SuperBowl instead. … Anyway, I am not going to vent my disappointments about that here. ;-)

This week’s program review: KKProSurf

I joined this program optimistically because Karin and Kris seemed to be sincere about making a legitimate program that people can count on. October 22nd I joined. Shortly after, I made my first upgrade with confidence because of something that Karin and Kris said.

We make no promises. We can not make promises. However, we can say that we have learned and lost alot. In doing so we will not put our funds, which are the funds our advertisers have paid us, to other surf sites to gain income on what we return as a rebate. We will only put our funds in investments that give us a turn around we can honor to the best of our ability.

I found that statement reassuring because I thought they had a more stable plan. On November 30th just days after my upgrade expired they put KKProSurf on hold. After a couple contact requests went unanswered I scratched my head and chalked it up as a loss.

I believe Karin and Kris to be good people who unfortunately has had bad luck when running AS programs. I know the first big blow they suffered was when they lost big in TriStarMoney Changers… and since then, it just seems they try to make comebacks but can’t. They have a list of failed programs: cslproads, tslglobaldaily, and kkprosurf.

Now they are relaunching kkprosurf as stated in the update below:

We have been down for a bit here, have had to change to kkpro.info from kkpro.com, I didn’t renew our domain in time.

We have some changes to the terms so please read on the front page so you know what they are.

We were hit so hard in 2007 by other sites that went down. We can not recover these funds and we deeply apologize. We are kidding ourselves to say we can, heck- I can’t even pay my personal bills let alone pay back every member who has been hit by our hits. We can not do refunds and we are very sorry to all of you affected by this. We have enjoyed getting to know everyone and have alot of good times along with the bad.

With this being said, we are going to wipe all the accounts clean and start fresh. We have no other way to do this. If you want to have your account deleted please just send an email and we will take care of this for you, no hard feelings- we certainly understand many people will have a hard time trusting us after this past yr.

And now we are here to begin once again. Terms are new in kkpro as well as csl and terms are changing in tsl as well.

What everyone MUST understand, when you pay for advertising the funds are now that of the company. Your money has paid for your advertising. Simple as that. We do not OWE you any money, we owe you a service which is to provide you with advertising for your websites. Just like when you pay for a service somewhere else, those funds now belong to that company you paid- it is not yours to be returned to you.

We will offer a rebate at kkpro PROVIDING our funds allow it. This is a perk to say thank you! And this perk if provided is for those who do remain active and surf daily.

We will offer a rebate at CLS PROVIDING our funds allow it. This is a perk to say thank you!! And this perk if provided is for those who do remain active and surf daily.

TSL will be offering something different, that is still in the making.

Nice to be back! We have missed everyone and our business! Our forum will be opened again soon, we had closed it to keep the nuts out!

Karin and Kris

I am definitely going to stay away from this program. I again believe Karin and Kris are sincere about making this program work, but are already starting on bad footing if they can’t even pay their personal bills. I also didn’t like the fact that they said they were going keep members money out of programs but then stating the reason for the failure is because they have been hit so hard by other sites that went down in 2007.

When and after the program was in trouble, I did contact them a couple of times, but did not receive any reply. That is not a very good sign of a dependable admin either. I realize kids, and family come first, but a response back to a member should be a priority if they are really serious about making this a business.

I know this is a little out of character for me to focus on a negative. I believe our perspective should be to look at the glass half full… but after giving these admins a chance, and then getting the update they want to relaunch; I felt it necessary to warn others about jumping into this program when they aren’t starting with the most solid foundation to begin with.

You can even sense the confidence level with this statement made in their latest update:

What everyone MUST understand, when you pay for advertising the funds are now that of the company. Your money has paid for your advertising. Simple as that. We do not OWE you any money, we owe you a service which is to provide you with advertising for your websites. Just like when you pay for a service somewhere else, those funds now belong to that company you paid- it is not yours to be returned to you.

We will offer a rebate at kkpro PROVIDING our funds allow it.

Now, they are absolutely correct in what they have stated. But, as members looking to participate in a program- we want to make sure the admins have a solid plan in providing the rebate as promised.

I look for confident and competent admins that are going to follow through… not ones with a track record of wiggling out because of this clause.

Vee, Bob, Charles, Jeff, Chee, and Randy are all admins that have chosen to look for a way to follow through, and not for a way out, and is why I support them.

Last thing… I do not EVER wish ill will on any program. With all sincerity, I do hope Karin and Kris prove me wrong. It would be great to see them launch this program and have tons of success! :)

Chad…….I’ll vent your disappointment for ya…….*lol* Being from Bear country I actually was rootin for the Pack just for the simple fact that I like Brett Favre & was hopin he’d see another SB. Oh well got to root for the Giants now!

I was wishing for a Chargers / Packers Super Bowl. I like the Packers myself … was quite surprised to see them lose, especially in overtime. Ah well …

I’ll be cheering for the Giants to squash the Patriots.. I’m sick of Brady and Co … no offense to NE fans ;-)

That was a tough game to watch. I think every sports fan in the world that was not a Giants fan was pulling for the Pack and Brett Favre in particular.
He is one of the few pro athlete’s that does it right anymore.

    PS
Chad, I think you meant “Bob” and not “Jeff” in 17surfpro update! you can edit this comment ;)

after reading that post chad, i think you are right about being negative, (and no not about the packers failure lol), but about the failure of karin and kris, in there past attempts, at running A/S sites. after reading about there past failures, i think you are right to express your feelings, about not joining there “newly relaunched”, site, which is just an old site, with a new domain name. they have failed 3 times in the past, what makes them so sure, that they are going to get it right this time. i will def be staying away from there newly relaunched “changed domain name” site.

I think everyone around here is still a little bit in denial about the game. The cold actually hurt Favre more than it helped.

Thanks, jjuk… It just didnt seem like there is much confidence from the admins… I mean making it a point to emphasize the escape clause most sites have anyway? It as if they are planning the exit strategy before even starting.
